The world famous Lulworth cove is a mere three minute walk away. As well as the cove there are quiet beaches within walking distance along the Lulworth coast. A walkers paradise, from the Cove stroll along the coastal path and take in the recently awarded World Heritage Coastline, including Durdle Door, or venture inland and enjoy the outstanding countryside or the haunting deserted village of Tyneham. Opposite Seagrove you will find the Heritage Centre which offers an in depth history of the coast, two lovely public houses and grocery store are well within walking distance. Centrally located along the coastline, you can explore all the coastal towns and villages to the East: the Isle of Purbeck, Swanage and Bournemouth and to the West: Weymouth, Bridport, Lyme Regis or Abbotsbury. You can enjoy a wealth of attractions just short drive from your cottage, including Monkey World, Tank Museum at Bovington or the National Trusts Corfe Castle.  |
